Westwood Park
Westwood Park is open year round to the public for a variety of recreational activities. Fishing is excellent for bass, sunfish, crappie and channel catfish. A small modern campground is located near the lake and is open from May through October. Picnicking, hiking, mountain biking, a horse trail, shelter house and play field are some of the day use activities to be found. Some facilities are handicapped accessible.
While in the park, one may have the opportunity to see many types of wildlife that are present in the various habitats. Hiking trails, the horse trail and mountain bike trail offer wonderful scenery of deciduous woodlands, abandoned grasslands and rolling hills.
